- Personal injuries
- Material damages
The purpose of the aircraft liability insurance is to cover any claim of personal or material damages to a third party, which may result from the aircraft.
As in any other third-party liability insurance the insurer assumes the management of any claim by a third party and decides to accept or reject the claim brought against the insured.
Iberia Insurance Brokers cooperate with insurers across Europe.
The insurance premium varies from aircraft to aircraft. In most cases the insurance premium depends on the following criteria:
- Type of flight device (airplane, drone, etc.…)
- Weight of the aircraft
- Number of passenger seats
- Pilot capacity and experience
In order to protect your financial interests, we recommend a separate aircraft-hull insurance. A hull insurance policy for motorized airplanes covers your aircraft for partial or total loss.
